Quick answer

All-on-4 in New Jersey is quoted per arch, and the price covers a full treatment: planning, extractions, four implants, a temporary fixed arch on surgery day and a final custom arch. What moves the price most is whether you treat one arch or both, how many teeth need to come out, your bone and gum health and the material of the final arch. For typical NJ ranges, see our dental implants cost guide. Your own price comes in a written, itemized plan after a $75 consultation in Jamesburg.

If you are comparing All-on-4 quotes in New Jersey, you have probably noticed they look very different from one office to the next. That is because All-on-4 is not a single product. It is a full treatment, from planning and extractions to surgery, temporary teeth and a final custom arch. This guide explains what is included, what makes one case cost more than another, how insurance and financing work and what to ask so you can compare quotes fairly.

Thinking about All-on-4?

Our dentists plan and place All-on-4 fully in-house in Jamesburg. Book a consultation or call (732) 521-0550.

What is All-on-4?

All-on-4 dental implants replace a full upper or lower arch of teeth with a fixed bridge held by four dental implants. Two implants go in the front of the jaw and two are angled toward the back to make the most of the bone you have. In most cases a temporary fixed arch is attached the same day, and the final arch is fitted once the implants have healed.

What should a complete All-on-4 fee include?

When you compare prices, make sure you are comparing the same thing. A complete All-on-4 treatment usually covers:

  • Consultation, digital X-rays and treatment planning

  • Extraction of any remaining failing teeth

  • Placement of four implants and their connecting parts

  • A temporary fixed arch on surgery day

  • Follow-up visits during the healing months

  • The final fixed arch, custom-made in a dental lab

  • Adjustments after the final arch is fitted

A lower quote sometimes leaves out the temporary arch, the extractions or the final arch. Ask for an itemized plan so nothing is hidden.

What changes the cost of All-on-4?

1. One arch or both

The fee is usually quoted per arch. Many patients start with the arch that bothers them most and treat the other later.

2. Extractions

If you still have teeth on the arch, they are removed on surgery day. The more teeth that need to come out, and the more complex they are, the more the visit involves.

3. Your bone and gums

All-on-4 is designed to work with limited bone, but some patients need a fifth or sixth implant (often called All-on-6) or a bone graft for a stable result. Gum disease is treated first, sometimes with scaling and root planing, so the implants heal well.

4. The final arch material

Final arches are commonly made of acrylic over a metal frame, or of zirconia. Acrylic costs less and is easier to repair. Zirconia is stronger, resists staining and looks more like natural teeth, and it costs more.

5. Your overall health

Conditions such as diabetes, or habits such as smoking, can mean extra planning or visits. Being open about your health at the consultation leads to a more accurate quote.

Is All-on-4 cheaper than other options over time?

  • Individual implants for every tooth: the most natural option, but placing an implant for each missing tooth means more surgery and a much higher total. All-on-4 gives a full arch on four implants.

  • Implant-supported dentures: two to four implants hold a denture that snaps in and comes out for cleaning. The upfront cost is lower than All-on-4, and the clips need replacing over time.

  • Traditional dentures: the lowest starting cost, but dentures need relines and replacement over the years, and they do not stop the jawbone from shrinking.

For patients who need more than a single arch replaced, full-mouth reconstruction combines several treatments into one plan.

Does insurance cover All-on-4 in New Jersey?

Most dental plans pay something, but not most of the cost. Plans have a yearly maximum, so their share usually covers part of the extractions, the implants or the arch. Traditional Medicare does not cover dental implants. Some Medicare Advantage plans include dental benefits, so it is worth checking yours.

Ask for a pre-treatment estimate from your insurer before you start. Our team sends it for you and goes through the answer with you. See our financial information page for more.

How can I pay for All-on-4?

  • Financing: third-party plans such as CareCredit offer monthly payments for qualified applicants

  • One arch at a time: treat one arch this year and the second next year to use two years of insurance benefits

  • HSA or FSA: dental implant treatment is generally an eligible expense

  • Payment arrangements: ask our team what fits your budget

Frequently asked questions

Is All-on-4 cheaper than individual implants?

For a full arch, usually yes. All-on-4 uses four implants instead of one for every missing tooth, so there is less surgery, fewer parts and a lower total.

Can I do one arch at a time?

Yes. Many patients treat one arch first and the other later, which spreads the cost and can use two years of insurance benefits.

Is All-on-4 worth it compared with dentures?

It costs more up front, but it does not slip, it helps protect the jawbone and it avoids the relines and replacements dentures need. For many patients, eating and smiling without worry is the deciding factor.

How long does All-on-4 take?

Most patients leave with a temporary fixed arch on surgery day. The final arch is fitted after about 3 to 6 months of healing.
